Since I moved to downtown Columbus, the North Bank Condos have slowly risen a couple of blocks away at the corner of Neil Avenue and Spring Street. Seven months ago, there was only an old abandoned warehouse or parking garage or some big, grey building.
Here’s view from Buggyworks roof before.
A view from Buggyworks roof after. Check out the new American Electric Power sign too. I didn’t really realize when that thing went in.
Side note: I should have taken more pictures along the way, but I was too lazy and my camera has this problem where the batteries drain after only five minutes.
The old building is now wrapped in brick, plugged with windows, and turning into condominiums and a parking garage.
A few months ago.
A few weeks ago. (Okay, I have no idea when some of these pictures were taken, but I’m guessing)
The condo tower has been rising a steady floor or two a week for the past few months. Only two or three floors will need to be built.
In December, workers began glassing in the bottom floors. I battled through the freezing snow today and here is the lastest pic…
