Welcome to the March 1, 2007 edition of Carnival of the Slackers!

First off, I want to say thanks to everybody who submitted articles. I appreciated it and hope to keep this going for months to come. Off to the carnival!

I’ve had a similar experience to this one before, and it is certainly not fun. I’m working on my story of almost being caught slacking, but first Silicon Valley Blogger presents Work Place Drama Ends In Mo Money posted at The Digerati Life, saying, “What happened to me when I thought I had slacked.”

David presents Procrastination … doing it right posted at Brain Farts & More. Sounds like he even has trouble walking down the street without getting distracted.

David Maister presents Done at Last! Thoughts on Procrastination posted at
Passion, People and Principles
, saying, “Cut yourself some slack!” If you’re looking for some advice of how to shake yourself into action and stop slacking, check it out. (Not that I can condone actually working…ha!) He has some good ideas.

Jack Yoest presents Manager as Sociopath: An Interview With An Honest Boss posted at Reasoned Audacity, saying, “Your Business Blogger teaches management training. But there is no need to sit in my class, just visit An Interview with an Honest Manager.”

Linda Freedman presents The Doc Worries posted at Everyone needs therapy? Lessons from a family therapist, saying, “Perhaps slackers obsess more, worry more, and this is why they slack. No, probably not. But is there a solution for worriers who perhaps are also slackers, would prefer worrying to doing. Could be. Decide for yourself.”

Conan Stevens presents Top 20 Weird Google Search Terms That Had Visitors Come To My Site posted at Conan Stevens Online, saying, “about 80% of my traffic comes during business hours - how is that when everyone is working?
Here is a list of things that these hard workers are searching for in relation to their jobs (for sure).” Interesting list…makes me want to go through my logs sometime soon.

If you just want something soothing to stare at to while away the time, Christopher Depelteau presents Just waves at Dreamland, Bali posted at Salt Water Addiction.

Thanks for the submissions everyone. Now, back to slacking!

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of
